 Preface:
When I write my weekly bulletin for upcoming events "artist at work" I always refer to my myself with the
quote "art business as usual". My duties encompass painting, nailing, drilling, filing, installing neons and
electrics, making phone calls to customers, friends, assistants and sponsors for
peepart. Ongoing responsibilities include PR-work for art, events, happenings in the
printed press, TV, radio etc..
I never stop working on sculptures, hauling, varnishing, tidying up
the chaos in the studio,
photographing new artwork, wrapping/unwrapping, hanging up and taking down of artwork. Decorating the studio,
down time to meditate, to water the flowers, to prepare events and exhibits, playing with my cat
Carmen, eating, drinking, ironing, changing my work outfit when customers
are coming, working on my PC and watching TV at the same time are all part of my day. Surfing on the internet, updating
events, replying to inquiries, sending out information and material, communication with my collectors in
New York, sending and answering of e-Mails, and much more keep me busy.
