Den Riesenjaguar baute ich 1995 zum Thema „Müllvermeidung und Recycling“, um das Bewusstsein der Menschen dafür
zu sensibilisieren. Mit seinen großen Ohren (in Anlehnung an Jaguardarstellungen in alten mexikanischen Kulturen) warb er für das
Thema in den Medien (Presse und TV), das heute nach 27 Jahren aktueller ist denn je. Die Voraktion
mit Grundierung und Bemalung fand vor dem Haupteingang des Kulturzentrums Gasteig statt. Zusammen mit dem
Abfallwirtschaftsamt der Landeshauptstadt München wurden interessierten Bürgerinnen und Bürgern Anregungen zu
Müllvermeidung/Recycling gegeben. Oberbürgermeisterin Sabine Csampai übernahm die Schirmherrschaft über das Happening. Der Bauch des Riesenjaguars hat eine Türe, um die gebrauchten Kunststofffundstücke zu betrachten. Der Platz im Inneren ist so groß, dass Sie auf einem Stuhl sitzen können. Während des Happenings im Nachtcafé (angesagte Location in München) stieg eine Venus im Stil von Marylin Monroe aus dem Bauch. Das Hauptthema meines künstlerischen Schaffens ist „Naturschutz in Kombination mit Technik“. Denn es ist so wichtig, dass künftigen Generationen eine intakte Natur hinterlassen wird. Passend dazu organisierte ich eine Tombola zugunsten von UNICEF. Als Hauptgewinn winkte eine TUI-Reise für 1-2 Personen, Zielort nach Wahl im Wert von 4.000,- DM. Darüber hinaus gab es zahlreiche weitere hochwertige Preise, die sich die Gäste erspielen mussten: Ich habe die Lose eingegipst, sie mussten mit farbigen Steinen auf sogenannten Jaguarbrettern aufgeklopft werden. Mein großer Dank gilt allen Sponsoren und Kunstinteressierten (siehe Liste), die mich maßgeblich beim Bau des Riesenjaguars unterstützten. Es ist für uns eine unvorstellbar große Freude, dass mein Riesenjaguar nach der Odyssee (siehe Historie) nun die Reise um die halbe Welt nach Südkorea antritt, von der ich bei seiner Konstruktion nie geträumt habe. Mein großer Dank geht daher an meinen lieben Freund Cheon Eob YU, Museumsdirektor des Haegeumgang Theme Museum in Geoje, Südkorea, der den Transport ermöglicht hat. Ich wünsche ihm viel Freude und Erfolg mit dem Riesenjaguar. Möge der Riesenjaguar mit seinem „Big Smile“ und seinen großen Ohren viele koreanische Herzen erobern, ein schönes warmes Plätzchen bekommen und idealerweise für M&uumml;llvermeidung/Recycling und Nachhaltigkeit werben. I converted the Giant Jaguar in 1995 for the topic "Waste Avoidance and Recycling" to promote and raise people's awareness of it. With his big ears (based on depictions of jaguars in ancient Mexican cultures), he promoted the topic in the media (press and TV), which is more relevant today than ever after 27 years. The preliminary action with priming and painting took place in front of the main entrance of the Gasteig Cultural Center. Togeter with the waste management office of the state capital interested citicens of Munich were given suggestions for waste avoidance/recycling. Mayor Sabine Csampai took over the patronage of the happening. The belly of the Giant Jaguar has a door to look at the used give away plastic finds. The space inside is sos big that you can sit on a chair. During the happening in the Nachtcafé (trendy location in Munich) a venus in the style of Marylin Monroe rose from the belly. The main theme of my artistic oevres is "Preserving Nature in Combination with Technology". Because it is so important for future generations sto have an intact nature to leave. In keeping with this I organized a tombola in aid of UNICEF. The main prize was a TUI trip for 1-2 people,destination of your choice in the value of DM 4,000. There were also numerous other highqualityy prizes that the guests had to earn: I plastered the lots, they had to be tapped on so-called jaguar boards using colored stones. My big thanks go to all sponsors and art lovers (see list) who helped me significantly in the construction of the Giant Jaguar. It is an unimaginably great joy for e that after the Odyssee (see history) my Giant Jaguar is now making the journey halfway around the world to South Korea, which I never dreamed of in its construction. My big thankyou therefore goes to my dear friend Cheon Eob YU, Museum Director of the Haegeumgang Theme Museum in Geoje, South Korea who enables the transportation. I wish him a lot of joy and success with the Giant Jaguar. 1995-ben átalakítottam az Óriás Jaguárt a „Hulladék elkerülése és újrahasznosítása” témakörhöz, hogy népszerusítsem és növeljem az emberek
annak tudatossága. Nagy füleivel (az osi mexikói kultúrákban a jaguárok ábrázolása alapján) népszerusítette a
téma a médiában (sajtó és tévé), amely ma aktuálisabb, mint valaha 27 év után. Az elozetes intézkedés
alapozással és festéssel a Gasteig Kulturális Központ fobejárata elott történt. Együtt a
államfováros hulladékgazdálkodási hivatala az érdeklodo müncheni polgárok javaslatokat kaptak a hulladékkal kapcsolatban
elkerülés/újrahasznosítás. A rendezvény védnökségét Csampai Sabine polgármester vette át.
Az óriás jaguár hasán van egy ajtó a használt muanyag leletek megtekintésére.
A belso tér akkora, hogy egy székre is le lehet ülni. A müncheni éjszakai kávézóban
zajló esemény során Marilyn Monroe stílusú Vénusz emelkedett ki a gyomorból. Muvészeti
munkám fo témája a „természetvédelem a technikával párosítva”. Mert nagyon fontos, hogy a
jövo nemzedékei sértetlen természetben maradjanak. Ennek jegyében sorsolást szerveztem az
UNICEF javára. A fodíj egy 1-2 fos TUI utazás volt, tetszés szerinti úti cél, 4000 DM értékben.
Számos más színvonalas nyeremény is volt, amit a vendégeknek kellett megnyerniük: a jegyeket én
ragasztottam, nekik színeseket kellett használniuk Stones úgynevezett jaguár táblákon ütik fel.
Köszönettel tartozom minden szponzornak és muvészetbarátnak (lásd a listát), akik jelentos
mértékben támogattak az óriási jaguár megépítésében. Elképzelhetetlenül nagy öröm számunkra,
hogy az odüsszea után (lásd történelem) az én óriás jaguárom most indul útnak a fél világ
körül Dél-Koreába, amirol az építéskor álmomban sem gondoltam. Ezért nagy köszönet illeti
kedves barátomat, Cheon Eob YU-t, a dél-koreai Geoje-i Haegeumgang Theme Museum múzeumigazgatóját,
hogy lehetové tette a szállítást. Sok örömet és sikert kívánok neki az óriás jaguárhoz.
Az óriás jaguár hódítsa meg sok koreai szívet „nagy mosolyával” és nagy füleivel, kapjon
egy kellemes meleg helyet, és ideális esetben segítse elo a
hulladék elkerülését/újrahasznosítását és a fenntarthatóságot.
