Trotzdem kann mein Kunstwerk an der Ausstellung teilnehmen, denn ich fertige von ALLEN Neon Kunstwerken Skizzen, nach denen die Neonteile von meinem Neonmann gefertigt werden. Somit kann JEDES zerbrochene Neon neu gefertigt und ausgetauscht werden. Mein Neonmann produziert nun ein neues System, das ich ans Museum sende, wo der Austausch nach meiner Regieanweisung stattfindet.

Once again, I should have listened to my gut feeling. My mind told me it was fine, I should "think positive!" But my gut feeling is ALWAYS right! When shipping the heavy neon object PEACE DANCE, I would have preferred to pack it in the previously permitted giant boxes. However, the package volume had been drastically reduced (= hidden price increase), so I chose a much smaller box for shipping to South Korea that complied with this policy. I lashed the artwork to the bottom of the box and then placed this box inside a second one, filling the space with filler. Unfortunately, my mind didn't work out, and the neon arrived broken - I have no idea how that could have happened, given how solidly it was secured - at the museum in South Korea.

Nevertheless, my artwork can participate in the exhibition because I create sketches of ALL neon artworks, based on which the neon pieces are made by my neon man. This way, EVERY broken neon can be remade and replaced. My Neon Man now produces a new system, which I send to the museum, where the replacement takes place according to my instructions.
