Das 1. Karneval in Rio-Kostüm trug ich vor schlappen 40 Jahren wie ich anhand eines Presseartikels festellte. Es ist komplett und sieht aus, als ob ich es gestern kreiert hätte. Die Pailletten nähte ich von Hand auf. Es wundert mich noch heute, wie ich diese Kostbarkeiten kreierte. Das Original ist schöner als auf den Fotos.

Free English translation
I first wore the 1. Rio Carnival costume a whopping 40 years ago, as I discovered from a press article. It's complete and looks as if I had created it yesterday. I sewed the sequins on by hand. I'm still amazed today at how I created these treasures. The original is more beautiful than in the photos.
