És ist schwülheiss und für die Nacht ist Gewitter angesagt. Deshalb beschliesse ich schnell noch ein paar Lindenblüten im Park hinter meinem Haus zu pflücken, um zu vermeiden, dass der honigsüsse Blütenstaub, weggeschwemmt wird. Meine Mutter kochte im Sommer gerne Lindenblütentee und ließ ihn über Nacht stehen, sodass wir am nächsten Tag einen - kalten - aber roten (!) Tee als Sommergetränk anstatt zuckriger Limonaden als Durstlöscher tranken. Die Lindenblüten trocknete sie auch, um im Winter bei Erkältung ein wirksames Hausmittel zur Hand zu haben, da er bei Erkätungen, Fieber, Husten entzündungshemmend ist, die Abwehrkräfte stärkt zur Vorbeugung grippaler Infekte.
