Sie tragen die Namen der Teilnehmer, Unterstützer oder Märtyrer der Bewegung. Oft ist auch der Geburts- oder Herkunftsort mit angegeben.

The black plaques in the Donghak Peasant Revolution Memorial Hall in Jeongeup are a commemorative installation honoring the participants of the Donghak Peasant Movement (Peasant Uprising of 1894).
