Auftragsarbeit "Kolibri, Libelle & Schmetterling" - klassisch gemalt mit Tuschefeder. Das Format des Kunstwerkes soll 60 x 45 cm betragen, d.h. wieviel Fläche zum Bemalen zur Verfügung steht, hängt vom Bilderrahmen ab. Nehme ich einen schmalen, vergrössert das die Malfläche, nehme ich einen breiten, wird diese verkleinert. Also besuche ich mein Rahmengeschäft, wähle einen passenden Rahmen aus und errechne dann das Format der zu bemalenden Fläche. Gut gerechnet, denn als ich das fertig gerahmte Bild dann abhole, hat es exakt 60 x 45 cm!
Nachtrag: Meine liebe Sammlerin ist von der Auftragsarbeit begeistert, was mein Künstlerherz erfreut, denn das motiviert zum Weiterarbeiten.

Commissioned work "Hummingbird, Dragonfly & Butterfly" - painted in the classic style with ink pen and ink. The artwork should measure 60 x 45 cm, meaning the available painting area depends on the frame. A narrow frame increases the painting area, while a wide one reduces it. So I visit my frame shop, choose a suitable frame, and then calculate the dimensions of the area to be painted. My calculations were spot on, because when I pick up the finished, framed picture, it measures exactly 60 x 45 cm!
