Die Kohlrabi sind bis auf einen weissen und einen lilafarbenen abgeerntet, die ich auswachsen lasse. Dafür ist nun der Fenchel erntefähig. Da die Mairüben NICHT holzig werden, wenn man sie in der Erde lässt, fange ich erst jetzt an, sie nach und nach zu ernten. Da, wo mehrere nebeneinander wuchsen, sind sie nur halb so gross als da, wo sie freie Entfaltungsmöglichkeit hatten: So ernte ich heute 2 kleine und eine grosse Mairübe. Ich hätte nicht gedacht, dass sie roh als Snack so vorzüglich schmecken - besonders lecker in Kombi mit Ziegenweichkäse.

Free English translation
The kohlrabi have been harvested except for one white and one purple, which I'm letting grow to maturity. The fennel, however, is now ready to harvest. Since the turnips don't become woody if left in the ground, I'm only now starting to harvest them gradually. Where several were growing next to each other, they're only half the size of where they were allowed to grow freely: So, today I'm harvesting two small turnips and one large one. I wouldn't have thought they'd taste so delicious raw as a snack — especially delicious with soft goat cheese.
