I immediately realize that the pigeon cannot fly and chase after it. Finally I manage to catch her. I put her in a box that I lined with newspaper and gave her organic grains (which I got for baking crispbread) and water. There she sits now, scared. One wing is a bit crooked. I'll see when the animal shelter opens and then take them there, because a veterinarian I contacted when I had previously found a pigeon would have euthanized them without examining them (!). Instead, the animal shelter took care of it lovingly.
